Is a low setting more secure?

Will a wedding band sit flush with a low setting?

Not always with a straight band. A high setting lets a straight wedding band sit flush against the engagement ring, while a low setting often needs a curved band or leaves a small gap. Does a low setting make the stone sparkle less?

A low setting lets slightly less light into the stone from below than a high setting, and the trade is a ring that sits closer to your finger and catches less.

No. Setting height is a free choice in the builder, so each ring costs the same at either height, and the price on each card is its starting setting price.

Is a low setting harder to clean?

Which rings are not in this collection?

Our bezel settings and the Ruby three stone only come in the high setting, so they are not here. A bezel wraps the stone in a smooth rim of metal and is the least likely setting to snag, so if that is your main concern, see our bezel engagement rings as well.

Do the photos show the low setting?

Most show the high setting, so the stone in a photo sits higher than it will on your ring. Open a ring and it starts with the low setting selected, and the comparison above shows the difference in height.
